About me and who I'm looking for

About me:

I’m British by birth, American by personal choice and Canadian sandwiched in between. Yes, I am a U.S. citizen so I won't be asking you for help in getting "status". What is this internet dating all about anyway? My theory is that these sights were all started by Starbucks to help boost sales. After all that’s where thousands of us meet in the hopes that our prince or princess charming will a) resemble their photograph, and b) not leave us vowing spend more time on research before our next blind date
Making friends has always been difficult for me. When I was a kid my mother hung a pork chop around my neck to encourage the dog to play with me. Fortunately I've learned not to wear it anymore - and most dogs are still my friends. Hanging around in "Whole Foods" seems to work better for meeting women but best of all are the handicraft stores like "Michaels" and "Ben Franklin". There's always lots of women there (Ladies ~ I'm joking!) My main interests are…Cooking, Movies, Rock (mainly old), Country and Reggae Music (especially live) and reading (mainly Victoria’s Secret catalog ~ but I still haven’t figured out what her secret is since it can’t be her underwear ~ she’s already shown us that!) I am a sales rep. by trade and I work out of my home. My house is ruled by two cats and sometimes two of my spawn. The dog lies around looking permanently confused but with love in her eyes! Have to get rid of the fish though ~ I think I’m allergic to fish dander! I was born in England and have lived in North America for more than 30 years. I don't drink ...and drive because I always spill it! I love kids, nature, wild life, wild weather (storms), reading, music (especially live), cooking, tequila, cooking with tequila and meeting people (who have tequila)… I hate (well, not hate - just don't like) slugs, paying bills, school concerts, goldfish who smoke cigars, and break dancing which I'm told was discovered when someone tried to remove a hubcap from a moving car.

I'm looking for:

I'd like to meet and talk to you about why we are described as intelligent life...to talk and share life's past experiences. If all goes well perhaps to share some future experiences together...such as alphabetizing our cookbooks or sorting out our sock drawers. Together we can solve life's great mysteries, like "Why do I see one shoe on the highway?" Where is the other one? or...what lives in my washing machine and eats a single sock - once in a while.
